What you say and what people hear aren't always the same thing. Unframed exposes the framing, assumptions and narrative structure creating that gap.

The spectrum of influence

Every message carries more than its literal words. It contains assumptions about what matters, choices about what to include and exclude, language that assigns roles, numbers presented within particular baselines, and a narrative that tells the audience how to interpret what happened. Unframed makes those choices visible, using six lenses to reveal how perception is being constructed.

Language doesn't merely describe reality. It creates it.

Every choice of language establishes a frame: what matters, who is responsible, what is normal, what is threatening and which conclusions feel reasonable.

Unframed makes that architecture visible.

Six lenses for exposing how a message shapes perception
A message shown as stacked layers rising into a peak.

Six lenses. Each one exposes a different part of how the message is doing its work.

01
Architecture
What created this message?Who controls the environment? What incentives shaped it? Why does this message exist here, now, in this form?
02
Filter
What are you not being shown? What's missing? Compared with what? At what cost? What evidence would change the conclusion?
03
Numbers
What story are the numbers telling?Baselines, denominators, scale, timeframes and comparison points can radically change the meaning of the same data.
04
Frame
What does the language make you see?Words define the problem, establish protagonists and villains, assign responsibility and make certain conclusions feel natural.
05
Map
Where is the message taking you?Track its movement: Neutral → Framed → Emotional → Moralized → Polarized → Weaponized.
06
Machine
What happens when the system amplifies it?Platforms, algorithms and AI do not simply distribute messages. They influence which messages are created, rewarded, repeated and seen.

About
Oded Levy. Brand strategist and creator of The Unframed Method.

I spent more than 15 years building messages, brands and communication systems. Unframed came from doing the reverse: taking messages apart to understand why they work, why they fail, what they cause audiences to assume, and how small changes in language can produce radically different perceptions. The result became The Unframed Method.
